Where is Lee's Coffee located in Birmingham?
Lee's Coffee is inside WorkPlay at 500 23rd St S, Birmingham, AL 35233, in the Lakeview district. Come through the gate off 23rd Street South and you'll see the patio with string lights and the cartoon coffee cup in the window.
Is Lee's a coffee shop or a bar?
Both. Lee's is a coffee and spirit lounge: a full espresso bar pouring Non-Fiction Coffee during the day, and a full liquor bar serving handcrafted cocktails at night. Most days you can get either one at any hour we're open.
When is happy hour at Lee's?
Cocktails are $8 from open until 6PM, every day we're open. After 6PM crafted cocktails are $12.
Is there parking near Lee's Coffee?
Yes. There's parking at WorkPlay along with street parking in the surrounding Lakeview blocks. On nights with a show at WorkPlay the lot fills up early, so give yourself a few extra minutes.
Is Lee's a good place to work or study?
That's a big part of why we're here. Wi-Fi, outlets, tables sized for a laptop, and a patio when you want sun. Mornings and early afternoons are the quietest stretch.
Do you have karaoke?
Every Saturday at 8PM, and we're open until midnight. Wednesdays are Game Night at 7PM and Fridays are Crafts & Games at 7PM. All of it is free.
Are you open on Mondays?
Not usually. Mondays are closed unless there's an event. That also makes Monday the easiest day to book the space for a private party.
Can I bring in outside drinks?
No outside beverages, please. Everything you drink at Lee's comes from our bar or our espresso machine.
